The deployment of large-scale, industrial IoT projects is complex and comes with several technical and operational challenges, resulting from the lack of interoperable solutions. Founded by several key players in the IoT industry, the IoT Continuum brings together Orange, LACROIX, Sierra Wireless, and STMicroelectronics, with the aim of providing a joint ecosystem of compatible IoT solutions that simplifies the roll-out and implementation of industrial IoT projects.

Pierre-Yves Berger – STMicroelectronics
Pierre-Yves Berger is ST’s Strategic Business Development Director in the EMEA Region. With 20 years’ experience in the industry, has held several positions in customer relations and sales and marketing in high-tech areas with complex ecosystems at stake. Pierre-Yves as an extensive experience in various industries such as mobile telephony and the set-top boxes industry. He also oversees Open Innovation activities in France. Pierre-Yves holds an engineering degree in embedded systems as well as an executive MBA in innovation management.
Stéphane Gervais – LACROIX
Stéphane Gervais is the Executive Vice-President for Strategic Innovation, Partnership and Smart Data at LACROIX. He has more than 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry in global marketing, business development, innovation, project management, and as product designer. He has worked for multi-national companies in Europe and in Asia in consumer and industrial segments. As Executive VP for Strategic Innovation, Partnership and Smart Data at LACROIX, he focuses on the Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT), new technologies, electronics, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities, which are some of his favorite topics.
Nicolas Ducrot – Orange
Nicolas Ducrot is the Vice President for Orange Innovation Devices and Partnerships, Enterprise IoT at Orange. He has a wealth of experience in telecommunications, after more than 15 years in network and IT services, devices, digital transformation, and the Internet of Things. During his career, he has held numerous positions including as Director of Connected Objects, where he spearheaded innovative IoT partnerships to increase revenues of intelligent terminals and IoT solutions based on cellular connectivity. Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Information and Telecommunication Technology from the University of Technology in Troyes, France.
Nicolas Damour – Sierra Wireless
Nicolas Damour is the Director for Technology Partnerships Development at Sierra Wireless. He is responsible for innovation projects with industry partners and ensuring the market adoption of next-generation IoT technologies and services. With more than 10 years at Sierra Wireless and more than 20 years in the ICT industry at large, Nicolas helps position Sierra Wireless as a global provider of field-to-cloud IoT solutions that include hardware, connectivity, and cloud services. He is currently chairing the GSMA IoT Terminal Steering Group, and holds an engineering degree in telecommunications and a Master’s degree in innovation management.
